Privacy Policy

1. What we collect

We collect the following information when you use the Service:

• Email address — collected when you sign in via magic link. Used to identify your account and send authentication emails.
• Quote text — the text you paste for analysis. Processed by our AI parsing step and then discarded after the validation session is complete. We do not retain raw quote text.
• Validation session data — the parsed scope, answered questions, scores, and report output for each validation. Retained for 12 months to allow you to reopen past reports.
• Payment records — token purchase history (amount, date, product). Payment instrument details (card numbers etc.) are handled entirely by LemonSqueezy and never reach our systems.

2. How it is stored

All data is stored in a PostgreSQL database hosted on Railway infrastructure in the United States. We take reasonable technical measures to protect data in transit and at rest. We do not sell or share your data with third parties for marketing purposes.

Authentication emails are sent via Resend. Payment processing is handled by LemonSqueezy, which acts as the merchant of record for all transactions. Both services have their own privacy policies which apply to the data they handle.

3. How we use your information

We use collected information to:

• Authenticate your account and send magic link emails
• Perform quote analysis and produce validation reports
• Track token balances and payment history
• Improve the accuracy of our risk rules over time using aggregated, anonymised session statistics

We do not use your quote content to train AI models operated by third parties.

4. Data retention

Validation records (parsed scope, answers, report output) are kept for 12 months from the date of creation, then deleted. Your email address and account record are retained for as long as you have an active account. You may request deletion of your account at any time by contacting support@quoteairtight.com.

5. Your rights

Under the Australian Privacy Act 1988 you have the right to:

• Access the personal information we hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate information
• Request deletion of your account and associated data
• Make a complaint to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) if you believe we have not handled your information correctly

6. Cookies

We use a session cookie to maintain your signed-in state. No third-party tracking cookies are set. We do not use advertising cookies or behavioural tracking.
